    About the Role

    Our mission is to ensure that every child has direct access to great educators, and this role will be crucial in helping to achieve that mission. The Tutoring Business Director will manage student lessons, onboarding of additional tutors, student and parent relationships, and more. The right person for this role will be passionate about education, about helping others, and about growing businesses.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage operations including payment processing, session scheduling, and parent communication through the use of Clark’s own first-in-class management software
    • Determine subjects and educational levels for students
    • Set lesson prices based on research and recommendations
    • Manage the well-being and education of students in need of additional education outside of the classroom
    • Effectively communicate with parents of students, focusing on long-term outcomes for students
    • Hire additional tutors, based on demand
    • Scale tutoring businesses
  • Qualifications

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
    • Enthusiastic about education and helping students
    • Great time-manager, capable of meeting tight deadlines
    • Great written and interpersonal skills
    • Ideally, you have a past life in the classroom, with experience developing students
    • Committed to building long-term relationships with students of all ages
    • Loves focusing on personalized outcomes
    • Flexible, willing to work hard, and great at problem solving

    Additional Requirements:

    • Fluent in English
