Licensed marriage and family therapist provides all aspects of psychosocial services including diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, care coordination, case management, and brief individual, family and group therapy in the child outpatient clinic at Outpatient Psychiatry Services- La Jolla. In addition, incumbent will serve as liaison with other UCSD Department and Division providers, to schools, social services and community health partners as well as participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings and assist in tracking caseloads and outcomes data. - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - A Master's degree from an accredited school of social work and possession of the requirements necessary for application for licensure as a clinical social worker as determined by the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. - MFT License issued by the state of California. - Two to three (2-3) years post MSW experience. - Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. - PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Demonstrated experience in providing mental health services to diverse children and families. - Demonstrated experience in providing case management to children, adolescents and families. - Proven ability to administer and demonstrate competency in a variety of evidence based therapies; strong demonstrated experience in providing individual, group and family therapy to patients and formulating a wide variety of treatment plans based on the sound integration of theory and practice. - Demonstrated experience to intervene in crisis management situations. - SPECIAL CONDITIONS - Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. - Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. - UC San Diego Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
