    What is a SPIN?

At EF, SPINs (Special Interest classes) give students the opportunity to study English through topics they are genuinely interested in. These classes combine language learning with hands-on experiences, helping students build confidence and fluency through real-world engagement. Topics range from creative arts to local culture in Hawaiʻi.

    Role Overview

We are looking for a Ukulele SPIN Instructor to lead a culturally rich and engaging SPIN class centered on ukulele music and Hawaiian culture. This class blends English language practice with musical instruction, cultural storytelling, and hands-on performance activities.
Students will learn basic ukulele techniques while exploring the history, values, and cultural significance of the instrument in Hawaiʻi. The instructor plays a key role in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning, practicing, and expressing themselves in English.
