    Job Brief:

    The Clinical Coordinator provides leadership and effectively coordinates and mentors faculty and

    students on the delivery of educational services in our medical programs, and specifically the clinical

    learning environment. The Clinical Coordinator also serves as a liaison to clinical sites and oversees the

    positive relationships with the facilities and students of Unitech.

    Job Description:

    -Maintain contact with local employers to obtain information on clinical rotation opportunities

    -Secure an adequate number of “Interagency Agreements” to support current student census

    -Train clinical site personnel on Unitech Training Academy policies pertaining to clinical rotation

    attendance, task checklists, and any other related policies

    -Weekly, ensure that all clinical rotation attendance has been faxed to the Registrar from the

    clinical sites

    -Conduct regular clinical site visits to each clinical site to evaluate and ensure the quality and

    effectiveness of the academic experience for each Unitech Training Academy student

    -In a timely manner, ensure that students complete all tests , background checks, and other

    requirements mandatory for clinical rotations

    -Ensure each student is informed of the details of their clinical rotation four weeks prior to the

    end of their coursework

    -Facilitate the student’s transition from class work to clinical rotation

    -Chart student’s progress throughout their clinical rotation

    -Contact and advise each student who has not attended his/her clinical rotation

    -Contact and advise students who are in danger of being terminated for not adhering to the

    attendance policy

    -Duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of an Associate’s Degree

    Nationally recognized credentials in allied health field plus three years of clinical experience and two years of teaching

    experience.
