    Job Brief:

    We are looking for a self-motivated individual that thrives in helping people achieve their career goals.  Applicant must be enthusiastic, friendly, and love working with people.  The successful candidate will be able to provide career advising to current online students and graduates, and advise participants on job search strategies and the logistics of securing and maintaining a job.  Generate job leads and placement goals. Develop and maintain relationships with local, statewide and national employers in an effort to address their staffing solutions and to provide follow-up with placements.

    Job Description

    • Provide support and guidance to students and graduates
    • Assist students and graduates in search for employment opportunities
    • Provide an assessment of skills and identification of jobs that meet program specific skills
    • Provide resume assistance, interview prep, mock interview and connection with local employers
    • Assist student in creating individualized Career Success Plans
    • Develop a job search success plan, track and document progress and revisit as needed
    • Solicit open job requisitions from employers throughout the state
    • Maintain a network of professional contacts relevant to online programs offered at Unitech Training Academy
    • Develop and nurture statewide and national employer partnerships and affiliations
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships and collaborate with colleagues, faculty, staff, students, alumni and employers
    • Demonstrate professional communication via phone conversations, email and/or text correspondence and video conferencing
    • Ensure that all work is completed thoroughly and deadlines are met, including but not limited to daily activity documentation, student and employer interaction/communication, reports and other assigned duties.
    • Responsible for verifying, documenting and processing all graduate employment data.
    • Plan and implement Career Outreach Activities (Virtual Job Fairs)
    • Responsible for weekly placement goals and exceeding Accreditation placement minimums
    • Develop, maintain and participate in Program Advisory Committee Meetings
    • Conduct Graduate and Employer Surveys
    • Attend and participate in weekly scheduled team/department calls
    • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
    • Duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Must have at least one year of administrative experience.  Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and potential employers and be knowledgeable in computers, social media platforms and video conferencing software. Must be able to work independently.  Recruiting and/or Job Placement experience is a plus.  Must be able to network effectively with potential employers virtually.  Must possess a high school diploma/G.E.D.
