    Student Intern, UAS Development Office Job no: 510002 Classification:Student Assistant B Grade:Student B Work type:Student Employee Administrative Unit:University of Alaska Southeast School/Business unit:Chancellor's Office Location: Juneau Categories: Development/Alumni Affairs, Office/Clerical, Other Position Summary: The University of Alaska Southeast Alumni Office is looking for self-motivated, customer service oriented, and responsible student intern to provide clerical office support. This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain professional office experience and learn about the UAS Development offices services. This is an entry-level position and on the job training will be provided. Duties: Provide basic administrative office assistance including: Receptionist duties, filing and mailing projects, social media tasks, and supporting both UAS Development and Alumni office events.Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Good written and verbal communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

    • Knowledge and ability to learn Adobe and Google software programs * Ability to work well on a team * Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision-making * Previous office experience is perferred All applicants must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA and maintain enrollment in at least 6 undergraduate credit hours, or 6 graduate credit hours for student employment during the academic year.
