This position oversees all administrative tasks related to RHRC program coordinators, faculty, adjunct faculty, staff, graduate assistants, and work-study students. This includes but is not limited to: employee searches/hires, annual faculty evaluations, workloads, peer review, promotion and tenure, conflict of interest, outside employment, graduate faculty status, course scheduling, room reservations, leave reports, time sheets, phone billing reports, parking permits, departmental reports, undergraduate and graduate catalog copies, website updates, conference phone set up, employment contracts of graduate assistants, maintenance of faculty/staff/graduate assistants printing accounts, textbook adoption assistance, recording of meeting minutes, course syllabi filing, incoming and outgoing fax processing, Xerox machine assistance, RHRC mail processing, key cards, and RHRC office and break room maintenance and organization. The Administrative Specialist III serves as the initial point of contact for the RHRC department by greeting visitors and handling incoming/outgoing phone calls, emails, and faxes. The position functions as adjunct faculty liaison for RHRC, ensuring all appropriate paperwork is processed for payroll and UAConnect and maintains the RHRC electronic filing system. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. - Minimum Qualifications: Please ensure that all relevant application materials include details addressing the minimum qualifications.
