The Sports Nutrition Intern position will be a one year paid position with the possibility of a second year contingent on both parties approval. Primary Responsibilities: - Oversee the nutritional needs of assigned teams Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: - Conducting individual and team nutrition education and counseling - Coordinating pre and post-training nutrition - Assisting with competition and travel nutrition - Serving as a nutrition and food resource for sport coaches - Manage the Red Card Program which includes reviewing all returned receipts, composing weekly reports summarizing individual restaurant and team usage, and overseeing the RedCard appointed intern - Overall support of the Sports Nutrition Program - Develop and design education materials as needed - Conduct team presentations, cooking classes, grocery store tours and dorm cafeteria tours - Work with Director of Sports Nutrition and Chartwells Staff to deliver and monitor Nutrition Center Services - Provide education and mentorship of sports nutrition to undergraduate nutrition employees - Minimum Qualifications: Please ensure that all relevant application materials include details addressing the minimum qualifications.
