Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade NE1. Wage minimum $17.84/hr. Position Description This position provides key financial functions related to reconciliation, procurement card and accounts payable, as well as payroll. This position will reconcile all travel expenses, payroll, IUT's and Journal Entries, as well as assist the Director of Business Operations with monthly budget reports. This position will manage the procurement cards for the Fairfax building by keeping an accurate sign in and out log, as well as keep track of receipts and upload to OnBase, reallocating the expenditures and reconciling every month. The understanding of all University procard policies is essential. This individual will be responsible for biweekly and monthly time review, assure biweekly timesheets are accurate and approved in the system by employees and supervisors. Perform final check after data entry by Admin Assoc. This position requires outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to develop and maintain working relationships with VPUA staff, other university staff, and external vendors; understanding of university policies and procedures related to financial and payroll processes, and handling confidential and sensitive information related to personnel actions with discretion and tact.
