UMHC-SCCC - OPD-1 & Spine Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Assistant. The incumbent will perform a variety of clerical duties and receptionist duties associated with patient care unit operations. Will facilitate patient flow. Greet patient upon arrival and verify patient information in UChart, check patient wrist band and assists patient with the pre-screen form. Other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements are high school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience in a medical office or hospital setting. Excellent customer service skills are required. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
