The Classroom Planning & Scheduling Analyst provides support in planning, developing and coordinating the production of the Frost School of Music course schedule, special events and classroom assignments. Assists in executing the course scheduling process and ensure appropriate classroom facilities and equipment are available to meet the instructional mission. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists in analyzing, planning, developing and maintaining the Course Schedule in PeopleSoft/25Live. Assists in populating and maintaining PeopleSoft, Data Warehouse, and its corresponding report systems. Serve as the Support person for ensuring adherence to General Purpose Classroom (GPC) allocations for more than 20 departments and programs. * Assists in finding resolutions to course scheduling conflicts and in modifying all school owned room assignments as needed in 25Live. Assists in monitoring and enforcing that classes requesting spaces: o Are following the University approved standard sections time slots o Have the days/times and dates are in a finalized state o Have enrollment totals (actual expected amounts) o List enrollment requirements o Include waitlist numbers o Have instructors (for back-to back classes) * Assists in analyzing, planning, developing and maintaining the Course Schedule in PeopleSoft. Assists with reviewing, submitting and monitoring event request(s) in 25Live or EventPro. Assists with monitoring the information entered in the new bulletin software and inputting (if necessary) updated curriculum changes when approved. Assists in maintaining and updating the curriculum in selected curriculum database. Generates submission lists for each meeting. Monitors submissions and enforce correct procedures. * Assists in enrollment planning and analysis, development and maintenance of databases and generating ad hoc reports on enrollment trends, faculty teaching loads, departmental teaching evaluations, room utilizations, retrieving data for reports for dean and senior associate dean * Prepare, properly format, and review recital and concert program documents for distribution at performances * Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Skills in analyzing and synthesizing large amounts of data with strong attention to details * Knowledge of curriculum and class scheduling related areas and processes (preferred) * Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and works well both independently and as a team * Ability to communicate with all levels of employees; customer-oriented * Strong skill in written and verbal communication * Knowledge of MS suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Education Requirements (Essential Requirements): * Bachelors degree * Relevant work experience, certification or education may be considered Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements): * Three years work related experience * Experience in class or event scheduling using both PeopleSoft and CollegeNet Series 25 is preferred Apply online.
