(see below for work schedule detail) Responsibilities* University Hospital-Operating Room Internship The internship is a six-month operating room orientation program. This educational program provides a valuable and unique career opportunity for graduate nurses/registered nurses. By teaching a wide range of skills and knowledge, the program prepares the intern for their new role as a perioperative nurse. The internship program is conducted in a classroom, laboratory, and patient care setting. The internship position is 40 hours per week. There will be Day/Evening shifts included in this position, with call and weekend/holiday obligations. Nursing Specific Info Salary & Nursing Framework Level: This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire.
