    REGISTERED NURSE (Mott Children's Hospital- PACU). Responsibilities* Provide direct patient care to multiple pediatric populations (ICU, general care, and OP). Maintain airway, vital signs, monitoring EKG, arterial lines, pain management (epidural and PCAs). Provide patient/family education. Provide patient and family centered care. Collaborate with all members of the health care team to meet the complex care requirements and management of pediatric population. Candidate must be highly motivated to provide excellent care and patient advocacy. Care is inclusive of entire perioperative experience (pre-operative and post-op care, including discharge and phone triage). On-call and weekend obligations. Nursing Specific Info This UMPNC RN posting is posted as Nursing Framework LEVEL C, includes B. Actual Nursing Framework LEVEL and salary will be determined at time of hire. Nursing Framework levels range from Level A to Level E. Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position. Required Qualifications* Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. Two (2) years of PACU RN experience within the last three (3) years OR Two (2) years of Level I ED experience, OR one (1) year of ICU experience. NOTE: Required qualifications must be met by the candidate in order to be interviewed and considered for the position.
