Description:
This is a full-time (10 month) faculty position. This position requires the ability to teach in both the School Counseling and School Psychology programs. The position may include administrative opportunities within the department.
Specialization:
A background in either mental health and/or Applied Behavioral Analysis in an educational setting are desirable. The candidate must possess certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The candidate must also possess a doctorate in counseling (educational or clinical), school psychology or related discipline. A Pupil Personnel Services Credential in school counseling and/or school psychology is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach courses in the School Counseling and School Psychology masters and educational specialists degree programs. The candidate will also supervise fieldwork students, and participate in department and university events and/or committees.

Compensation:
$66,560 to $125,460 is the annual salary for this role and reflects what Azusa Pacific University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on the qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to compensation, APU offers a competitive benefits package.
Compensation will be based on experience, rank, and qualifications.

1. Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and their application to the ACS Children’s Surgical Care verification application.
2. Knowledge of pediatric NSQIP registry/database and application.
3. Knowledge of surgical continuum of care including standards (national/regional), guidelines, and relevant policies/procedures.
4. Proven skills in interpersonal relationships, planning, organizing, and follow-up, budget preparation and monitoring, and management and leadership.
5. Proven skills in developing positive customer relations.
6. Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, be a team member and educate others, relate to all levels of the organization, create and motivate behavior changes.
7. Knowledge of process and work flow systems.
8. Communicates effectively both orally and in writing and time-management skills
9. Able to evaluate and present data to other professionals/non-professionals, including Physicians, in a clear concise manner.
