WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A strong ETL Developer to assist a data warehouse/business intelligence team with designing and developing ETL processes that enable interactive data dictionary and visualization.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO:

• Provide a migration plan and schedule for ETL migration activities; include sizing, frequency and complexity of business rules for data validation and transformation.
• Perform ETL requirements gathering and business analysis for each identified legacy file that will migrate to the new ETL platform
• Perform routine data processing operations in a production environment to ensure high quality, accurate, and timely data for integration into DMDC enterprise applications and services.
• Provide operational sustainment of all ETL development initiatives; as well as the sustainment of the ETL platform and framework. Perform periodic operational tasks, no more than quarterly, required to maintain the proper level of performance and integrity of all systems.
• Perform tasks including the following: Design and/or redesign of system framework; verification and validation; initial coding; revision; unit testing; debugging; and documentation for all system software.
• Document all ETL processes.

EXPERIENCE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Informatica and Data Warehousing
• Be well versed with ETL concepts and expertise on Informatica tool 8x and above
• Have very strong experience in PL/SQL, SQL Store procedures, Data analysis
• Self-starter who can perform consultant role
• Should be a good team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of SDLC and well versed with ETL methodologies and best practices
• Should be well versed with performance tuning guidelines
• Informatica or Qlik Sense experience a plus
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
