DCLCP Assistant Manager, East Coast, Mansfield Center DCLCP
The Mansfield Center’s Defense Critical Language and Culture Program (DCLCP) is one of the top language training centers in the nation. DCLCP provides intensive language and culture training for members of the U.S. military and other government agencies through a congressionally funded grant through the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO). The position may be located at Ft. Liberty, NC, or other assigned location dependent upon mission requirements or as determined by the Director of DCLCP.
The DCLCP Assistant Manager, East Coast will lead on-site collaboration with Defense Critical Language and Culture Program (DCLCP) military partners at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, and potential other assigned locations to support intensive language, regional expertise, and culture (LREC) training. This position liaises with on-site military partners for DCLCP programmatic areas, including scheduling, administrative and personnel support, customer responsiveness, logistical support, and maintaining and expanding LREC support with current and new military partners. In coordination with DCLCP Site Leads, this position will also support DCLCP faculty in all administrative and academic areas.
The position is located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina, or another location, dependent upon mission requirements, at the request of our customers, or as determined by the Director of DCLCP. Due to multiple training sites, some travel may be required. The Assistant Manager must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.

The Defense Critical Language and Culture Program (DCLCP), Maureen and Mike Mansfield Center at the University of Montana, is dedicated to providing superlative language and cultural training for Department of Defense customers. Our instructors and staff develop and present comprehensive language and regional studies/cultural awareness courses, courseware, and supporting materials designed to support national security mission needs.
The University of Montana is flagship, research-intensive R1 institution with approximately 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
