    The COLLEGE OF HEALTH invites applications for a PROGRAM COORDINATOR II for the HEALTH CAREERS OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM (HCOP). This position is 0.5 FTE (20 hrs/week) 8 am – 12 pm, or 1 pm – 5 pm. The Program Coordinator II will track all students recruited, admitted and graduated from the professional programs, and will help coordinate the evaluation process by gathering information through formal surveys and informal interviews of all program activities to give to the evaluation committee and directors.

    The Program Coordinator II will act as the data base manager to track debt load and repayment plans of each student. This position will survey sites and students to ensure program goals are being met. Additionally, they will review and analyze past grant data stored in various formats including paper, Access database, and Excel database to develop recruitment strategies for the department.

    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist with coordinating the evaluation of students by gathering information through formal surveys and informal interviews of all program activities to give to the evaluation committee and directors
    • Ensure online presence for recruiting and retaining students is up to date with accurate and timely scholarship, financial aid, and application information and materials
    • Track the debt load and repayment plans of each student
    • Survey sites and students to ensure program goals are being met
    • Aid in conducted audits
    • Analyze Pre and Post test scores
    • Monitor academic performance

    Minimum Required Experience

    • High School diploma and four (4) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Closely related work experience in a higher education setting
    • Two (2) years of experience in data collection and analysis
    • Working knowledge of University specific programs (e.g., BANNER, Cyberbear, GrizMart, etc.).
    • Knowledge of University of Montana specific policies and procedures
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study

    WORK SCHEDULE:                 Part-time 0.5 FTE (20 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8 am – 12 pm, or 1 pm – 5 pm, 12 months/year.

    SALARY:                                $16.25/HR

    UNION AFFILIATION:               FOCUS-MFPE

    PROBATIONARY PERIOD:        Six months minimum
