The work of the OST-Manager includes leading/directing the OST-Lead/Coordinator within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; monitor/administer discipline/corrective action by or for subordinates; ensuring customer satisfaction by daily feedback; Proactively monitors the work of OST staff to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation. Ensure that the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times. Read, understand and clarify the implementation of the site-specific security plan. Ensures subordinates administer practices fairly and equitably, where all employees, customers, vendors, and other third parties are treated with respect.

OST-MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively train, manage and motivate personnel to perform support roles on assigned projects.
Analyze and implement solutions to operational support needs as requested.
Respond to building operational needs and work with building/terminal managers closely to resolve any support requirements.
Develop/train support team members to perform efficiently and effectively during support assignments.
Coordinate and delegate associated project assignments to OST staff to achieve target tasks
Effectively present information to top management, and/or boards of
Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form and implementation of all cargo operational procedures
Ability to operate/train equipment and hold necessary licensing.
Minimum typing speed of 30 WMP and ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge.
Enforce company’s Standard Operating Procedures and policies
Assure proper compliance with local and international laws and regulations
Required Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of hands-on experience in a cargo, distribution, logistics, airline, or similar industry
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
Ability to work weekends including Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holidays if needed, and the ability to work different shifts
Must be proficient in operation of all warehouse machinery and GSE equipment.
