    Position Information Job Title OPEN TO UNO/UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY--E-Commerce Coordinator, Bookstore Department Bookstore Essential Functions Oversee and manage e-commerce processes for the Bookstore and its multiple locations on the UNO and UNMC campuses. Help with warehouse daily operations as needed and work with the Bookstores management team to ensure efficiency. Ensure that the Bookstores websites are setup within university guidelines, website content is up-to-date and textbooks and general merchandise is available online as appropriate. Collaborate with the Office of University Communications on material, media purchasing and advertising decision making. Provide technical maintenance on websites for Bookstores operations as well as needed for other auxiliary units. Bookstore E-Commerce - Manage, curate content and refine the Bookstores e-commerce presence in collaboration with other members of Bookstore administration and campus partners. - Continue to refine operational processes with Bookstore leadership, further integrating e-commerce with physical store locations. Currently, Bookstores locations include UNO Bookstore, Maverick Locker Room at Baxter Arena, UNMC Warehouse, UNMC Bookstore and UNMC C-Store at the Sorrell Center. - Create, curate and edit content on other digital platforms to optimize for search and usability. - Help troubleshoot e-commerce transactions or issues with vendor software as needed. Bookstore Website: - Ensure Bookstores websites align with university priorities, brand standards, voice, governance, strategy and policies in collaboration with Bookstores management team and campus partners. Streamline the content, update processes and provide instruction to enable Bookstore administration and marketing staff to curate regular content. Provide technical maintenance to websites as needed. - Work with Marketing Coordinator for Auxiliary Services to create ad campaigns for the websites and stores. Design online advertisements using Adobes InDesign, Photoshop and other related products. - Help with marketing in other Auxiliary Services business units as needed. Warehouse: - Help facilitate operations of the Bookstores warehouse located on the UNMC campus. - Provide input on changes to warehouse. processes, storage methods, fulfillment and other related duties to ensure warehouse is functioning appropriately, enhances order accuracy and adds value to Bookstore operations. Analytics: - Coordinate with University Communications (Digital Communications Team) on managing and analyzing information from ideation software, page metrics, Google Analytics, etc. Strategize findings with Bookstore executive team. Work Schedule generally 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This is a 2 year position Additional Duties Required Qualifications Required Education: Bachelors degree in communication, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field. Required Experience: Two-year experience with E-Commerce or web content development Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with HTML or other code-related software for websites. Prior experience with Nebraska Book Companys e-commerce solution.
