    SASS Summer Intern General Information Position Number STMP15 Working Title SASS Summer Intern Division Student Affairs Department Dean of Students (Adm) Work Unit Dean of Students Work Location King 118 Vacancy Open To All Candidates Position Designation Non-Student Temporary Employment Type Temporary - Part-time Hours per week 22 Work Schedule Flexible / Decided upon with Direct Supervisor Pay Rate $10.00 per hour Minimum Experience/Education Currently in Masters program for College Student Development, Higher Education and/or Counseling Completed 1 year of coursework in program Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Maxient Experience Banner Knowledge Assessment Experience Duties and Responsibilities - Intern will be educated on the overall functioning of the SASS /Dean of Students office - Intern will shadow staff members in meetings and will be able to conduct care and concern meetings on their own - Intern will be apart of the Strategic Plan conversation - Intern will be responsible for 1-2 large scale projects that will be decided upon with supervisor - Intern will have opportunities to meet with other Dean of Students functional areas - Intern will have opportunities to meet with other campus partners as seen fit - Intern will be able to attend and assist with campus presentations and trainings ranging from student orientation to academic departments - Intern will engage in weekly professional development such as article discussions and case studies.
