The Service-Learning and Volunteering Specialist is responsible for supporting service-learning and assisting with the cultivation of volunteer programming, with a particular focus on the Honors Program. The primary focus area of this position is to assist with facilitating and promoting relationships among faculty, academic and administrative units, community partners, and students to develop service-learning and co-curricular volunteer opportunities. Complete Job Description Benefits Summary Information Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree; and 2 years of experience working in service-learning including liaison responsibilities between faculty, academic support staff and external community partners Willingness to actively engage in addressing issues of structural inequity, power, and privilege in community-engaged learning experiences Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google suite, Excel, PowerPoint A valid drivers license Preferred: Prior experience working closely with faculty members in a college or university strongly preferred Demonstrated record of successfully encouraging students to participate in service programs Competency in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion Other Information: Materials must be submitted via "Apply for position."
