    Position Title -Admin Support II - Social Work Program (Part-Time Variable Hours) -Position Category -Staff - Part-Time (Variable Hour) -Summary -Utah Valley University is searching for an Administrative Support II for the Social Work Program in Behavioral Sciences. Under general supervision, this position performs administrative work such as composing routine correspondence, maintaining records, obtaining/providing factual information requiring a knowledge of policies/procedures of both assigned and work related areas. Informs students, faculty, and public of available department and university services. Provides correct and accurate information to inquiries and requests for assistance. Coordinates book orders, requisitions, and purchase orders and maintains inventory of office equipment and supplies. -Required Qualifications -Graduation from an accredited institution with an associates degree and one year of experience or any combination of education and experience related to the summary of duties totaling three years. -Knowledge, Skills and Abilities -Knowledge of office methods, techniques, practices and procedures, computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and databases -Skills in office methods, techniques, practices, and procedures -Skills in the use of computers and computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and databases -Interpersonal and problem-solving skills -Skills in record management -Ability to perform a variety of administrative support duties with minimum supervision -Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions -Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing -Ability to meet and work with people of diverse backgrounds -Ability to work independently on a multi-task level and prioritize and follow projects through to successful competition -Preferred Qualifications -Degree (A.S., B.S., or M.S.) in Social Work. -Physical Requirements -Frequently standing, sitting, and walking.
