    FACE TO FACE AND ONLINE TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES AT ALL DAYTONA STATE COLLEGE LOCATIONS.

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Must have a Bachelors or above with 18 hours in field.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

    • · Teach courses in accordance with college and departmental policies and procedures, as well as Basic Course    Information sheets.
    • · Prepare and submit timely grade reports and other reports on student performance as may be scheduled or required.
    • · Organize class activities and assignments, relating them to the overall learning outcomes of the course.
    • · Provide input and work with other faculty and staff to review, produce and/ or select course-related materials.

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • · Extensive knowledge of the subject area(s) in which the individual is responsible for instruction.
    • · Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of effective communication and of effective instruction.
    • · Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics and challenges of community college students.
    • · Knowledge and understanding of principles of curriculum development.
    • · Computer literate and able to navigate in a Windows environment.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field required
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision and as part of a team
    • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • 3+ years’ hands-on Quality and Control experience with focus on MS D365 F&O or MS Dynamics AX systems preferred
    • 2+ years’ advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and enforcing SDLC policies preferred
    • 2+ years’ advanced experience with Application Lifecycle Management ALM tools (e.g., HP ALM, MS Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.) required
    • Advanced experience with generating, communicating and interpreting test results and test status reports required
    • Advanced experience with D365 F&O, AX and/other ERP systems preferred
    • Advanced experience with development of advanced complexity SQL scripts required
    • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or other RDBMS architectures required
    • Basic understanding of source code management, reporting, requirements management, automated builds, testing and release management preferred
    • Elementary .NET or other object oriented programming skills highly preferred
    • Experience with interacting and supporting infrastructure related activities (e.g., connectivity support) preferred
    • Experience with collaborating and troubleshooting cross-team issues (e.g., Citrix, networking, etc.) preferred
    • Elementary experience with Testing Automation Frameworks and Automation Scripting preferred
    • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills required
    • Ability to self-direct and work effectively with both functional and technical resources required
    • Outstanding ability to analyze test results and generate comprehensive test summary reports and metrics required
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
    • Ability to multitask on two or more concurrent projects required
    • Strong time management skills with a history of meeting commitments required
