Valencia College is now hiring an APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR- BANNER ORACLE to join the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) team in our Office of Information Technology.

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on incentive at the time of recruitment. Payment of the one-time sign-on incentive will be made in two installments of $2,500 each, with the first installment paid in the first paycheck and the second installment paid after 6 months of employment. Employees who are eligible for and have received full payment of the sign-on incentive will transition into the regular retention incentive. This transition will occur after the sign-on incentive is fully paid and they complete one year of service with the college. For all eligible positions, an annual retention incentive up to a maximum amount of $7,500 will be paid in two installments of $3,750 each (every six months) during the time in which a market premium is deemed necessary.

In this role, you will serve as a member of the Enterprise Application Services (EAS) team collectively responsible for the administration, integration and support of the College’s enterprise applications. This position will install, configure and administer enterprise applications and other related systems. Additional responsibilities include controlling and maintaining change management in system enhancements and modifications.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience. [Required] In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a combination of education and experience may be substitutable.
• Experience with application administration in ERPs, course management, web applications, job scheduling systems or other applications used in higher education. [Required]
• Experience with developing and maintaining change management policies and procedures, authentication or single sign-on technologies, Informatica or other cloud based integration tools (Preferred)
• Experience in Oracle, MySQL, SQL server database administration or software development, scripting and other programming languages. (Preferred)
• Experience with developing and maintaining technical documentation. (Preferred)
• Experience with Banner or other Student Information System (Preferred)

SALARY: $47,722 - $57,863
