Requirements Master's degree in nursing OR bachelor's degree in nursing AND master's degree in health education or health science OR the equivalent from an accredited school with a minimum of three (3) years of recent full-time clinical experience in pediatric/maternal child nursing setting; current licensure in California. Preferred Teaching experience at the associate or baccalaureate level and strong written and clinical skills. Experience in caring for infant, children, and adolescents in the health setting. Expertise in growth and developmental, pediatric health assessment, family and pediatric medication administration. We accept adjunct applications on a continual basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the pool of applications on file, as needed, to fill temporary assignments. The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department. Your application will be maintained in this adjunct pool for 18 months.
