- New York, NY Responsible for collecting requirements for and
supporting the operation of Research Informatics software used to
support the institution's conduct of clinical and translational
research. Job Responsibilities * Maintains functional knowledge of one
or more systems and processes to enable matching investigator needs with
appropriate systems and processes. * Participates in analysis of
business requirements and documentation of functional specifications.
Reviews functional specifications with investigators, analysts,
developers, vendors, and leadership to ensure applicability. * Assists
with creation of scenarios to test new Research Informatics system and
process functionality. Documents plans and results of all testing. *
Participates in efforts to obtain EHR data to support investigators
through collaboration with institutional data providers. Maintains
privacy, security, and other relevant regulatory and compliance
priorities. * Communicates with investigators, developers, and
leadership regarding requirements for and discrepancies affecting
systems and processes for the conduct of clinical and translational
research. * Delivers problem definitions, training, demonstrations, and
other support activities to internal stakeholders as needed. Education *
Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience Approximately 3-5 years of
related experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to
coordinate and execute multiple projects and/or initiatives often with
conflicting deadlines and limited resources. * Attention to detail,
patience and a positive, customer-centric attitude. * Excellent
analytical and problem solving skills. * Strong written and verbal
communication skills. * Ability to interact with clients and colleagues
