Position Summary
The Coordinator for Field Placement works in various capacities arranging field experiences for WGU students that meet the requirements for the WGU programs and state(s) for which s/he is responsible. The individual communicates and collaborates with various stakeholders, including students, WGU mentors, as well as district and school personnel.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Coordinates field placements that meet the requirements for the WGU programs and state(s) for which they are responsible.
- Communicates with students, WGU staff, and outside professionals, i.e. superintendents, site administrators, host teachers, clinical supervisors, etc.
- Collaborates with team members, supervisor, and other departments within WGU.
- Works within a team environment.
- Distributes and maintains information regarding field placement.
- Works in a student relations management system.
- Reviews and interprets data in reports.
- Reviews student progress to determine if requirements are met, i.e. audits, compliance, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous administrative duties as required.
- Exhibits professional conduct, interaction, and communication as a representative of the organization and the department.
- Collaborates with outreach team to develop and maintain new school district partnerships.
- Adheres to WGU, school district, and state specific policies, procedures, and practices.

Required Experience
