Position Announcement:
Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Westminster College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Analytical Chemistry, beginning in August of 2019. Responsibilities include teaching General Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry, but may also include teaching chemistry for non-majors or a course in the area of the candidate's specialty. Broadly-trained applicants with specialties in Analytical Chemistry and/or Environmental Chemistry will be highly competitive. The teaching load is 12 contact hours per semester, with a typical load being two lectures and two labs. The successful candidate will work with dynamic and engaged colleagues to deliver high-quality courses.
Qualifications:
ABD in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field, at time of appointment, Ph.D. is preferred. Experience teaching undergraduates is also required.
