    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    This is an exciting time to join the Chorus marketing team. We’ve made a shift towards more direct to consumer marketing activities, and this role is at the forefront of ensuring we’re targeting, converting, and retaining consumers and businesses on our world-class fibre network.

    This is newly established role sits in our marketing automation team, supporting the data ambitions of our marketing automation programme as well as providing analytics expertise for consumer and business segment initiatives. 

    As the Marketing Analyst, you'll be responsible for data analysis, audience segmentation, campaign targeting, reporting and insights. You'll also develop and share acquisition and retention insights to drive campaign and journey optimisation that will help to inform future campaign activity. 

    We've recently built our own marketing data mart - you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of this tool, champion its use and grow its capability to meet the increasing data needs of the marketing team. 

    We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Interaction Studio, and there is plenty of scope to be involved in further rollout and drive the success of the tools for Chorus. We're looking for someone who's curious and courageous, willing to jump in, learn lots and help promote the success of the these tools to the organisation. 

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    We are looking for someone with 5+ years' experience in an analytic role who can hit the ground running and make this newly established role their own. In addition, you'll need : 

    • A data-driven mindset and a proven track record of analysing, mining, and merging data to derive insights that inform campaign strategy and optimisation.
    • Strong analytical and interpretational skills and an in-depth understanding of database management, data layers, relationships, workflows, and architecture.
    • An understanding of marketing data principles, business requirements gathering, and reporting.
    • A strong working knowledge of Excel, and data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is essential. HTML, CSS and JS experience would be beneficial but not essential.
    • A results-driven approach, delivering to agreed priorities and timeframes with a genuine commitment to succeed.
    • To be a self-starter with good problem solving and decision-making skills, using your initiative and creative thinking to optimise current campaigns and apply learnings to future activities.
    • A positive attitude, highly self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, developing strong relationships to achieve great outcomes.
    • Curiosity to learn and grow in the role – with a range of training and support available.

    Experience in automation tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be advantageous but not essential. Above all, we're looking for a great team player - someone enthusiastic, outgoing, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
