    AS THE FINANCE MANAGER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN OVERSEEING AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH ACCOUNTING POLICIES, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT IMPROVEMENTS TO ACCOUNTING PROCESSES, PROCEDURES, AND INTERNAL CONTROLS FOR THE GROWTH OF THE COMPANY. YOU WILL ALSO BE ESTABLISHING AND MANAGING THE ACCOUNTING, FINANCIAL REPORTING, AND EXTERNAL AUDITS. 

      

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?  

     

    • Manage finance team with tight coordination and collaboration with the Corporate finance team.
    • Drive execution of all accounting, reporting, control activities and ensure efficient, effective, reliable, and timely performance of these activities in accordance with Company policy, procedure, standard business processes, U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
    • Drive productivity, continuous process improvement, and transformation in the finance function in order to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness and improved service to customers, vendors, and employees.
    • Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger accounting, procurement to payment, order to cash, credit and collections, inventory management, control and valuation, fixed assets, and payroll.
    • Work with the sales team and Corporate revenue accounting and operations team to support sales activities and help ensure compliance with corporate revenue recognition policies.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including analysis thereof, with a sense of ownership, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, and a full understanding of the information reported.
    • Monitor technical accounting matters, keep abreast of new pronouncements and other guidance, and assist with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
    • Manage external audits for statutory reporting and parent company consolidated audits
    • Implement, monitor, and document internal controls and ensure compliance therewith.

     

    WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN YOU? 

     

    • Qualified accountant (CPA/CA)
    • Audit experience with a large national accounting firm
    • Significant years experience of international financial management experience, preferably at a significant subsidiary of a US public company
    • Hands on experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC reporting preferred
    • High level of proficiency in both IFRS and US GAAP
    • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Comfortable in a fast paced growth environment with an appropriate balance of urgency and quality
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Proven people management skills with ability to motivate and lead a team
    • Excellent analytical skills with strong planning and organising skills
    • Ability and willingness to dig into details.
