    HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting, textiles, leather and rugs.  HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects.  85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.

     

    POSITION PROFILE

    The Artist Assistant will be an integral member of the team in a fast-paced wallpaper manufacturing studio.  This role is a physical job that involves directly applying plaster and paint to paper.  This is not a creative role, rather focused on application and manufacturing.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with all aspects of production
    • Complete product per production schedule
    • Directly applying plaster and paint to paper
    • Learn and master different application techniques for all lines of wallpaper
    • Meet all critical product characteristics
    • Maintain workstation clean, organized and safe
    • Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required
    • Observe all company policies and standard practices

     

    Required Skills

    • Painting or plastering experience a plus
    • Must be detailed and precise
    • Must be willing to follow directions
    • Ability to multitask
    • Some lifting (20-50 lbs max)

    Required Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent required.
