Job Description
· Provide research for and write media Point-Of-Views (POVs). Assess various variables including, but not restricted to: circulation, audience information, scale, penetration, and product or service usage.
· Develop media strategy and recommendations under supervisor guidance.
· Present media plans and provide plan maintenance including objectives/strategies and updates.
· Maintain stewardship of reports including competitive reports using “Kantar” software to assess media schedules of competitors. Be capable of interpreting competitive data and relaying conclusions.
· Prepare flowcharts and budgets for media plan using Excel, PowerPoint, and planning-specific software.
· Prepare and issue buying specs and guidelines to buyers including GRP goals and budgets for use in negotiations.
· Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution.
· Meet with sales reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan.
· Liaise with internal Strategic Resources department for use of syndicated resources.
· Be willing to participate in more advanced functions as part of training and development.
· Resolve routine, but complex questions and problems.
· Be accountable for work quality to Zenith standards.
· Demonstrate independent decision making.
· Be capable of some personnel evaluation.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business or equivalent
· 3+ years of media management experience with an emphasis on direct digital investment
· 1-2+ years of experience managing direct digital investment campaigns with strong understanding of the retail media landscape preferred
· Strong cross-media planning background; digital planning capability, including retail or Amazon, is highly desired
· Experience with Adform, Epsilon, and others required
· Experience with Media Ocean is a plus
· Deep knowledge of key retailers, their ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies
· Experience in Consumer Package Goods industry (CPG) preferred
· Past experience working on a pitch team is a plus, however prior experience working in a business development function is not required
· Expert use of industry tools, and ability to learn and utilize Publicis Groupe proprietary tools
· High cultural awareness and sensitivity
· Comfortable navigating up, across, and diagonally; capable of voicing a strong POV with senior audiences
· Excellent project-management skills; able to manage multiple projects & people
· Skilled writer capable of drafting pitch-ready communication
· High versatility and agility to work on projects across industries, markets, and agencies
· Entrepreneurial spirit and high self-motivation
