    Job Description

    Organizational:
    The Zenith Competitive Intelligence Team provides advertising intelligence that yields insights resulting in a marketplace advantage for Zenith’s client base. Our goal is to daily deliver the most accurate, most timely and most granular competitive media spending reports & analysis in our client’s categories.

    Individual:
    The position of the Manager, Competitive Intelligence - is to act as the primary contact for competitive media requests and workflow. The Manager has a strong knowledge of the media market & industry trends and will assume a leadership position on the clients’ business needs/concerns. The Manager is an intricate component to the Competitive team with strong teamwork and delegation skills. The Manager will report to the SVP - Competitive Intelligence.

    Responsibilities

    Individual:

    • Lead the development of imaginative reports based on understanding of our clients businesses.
    • Think and write in a logical flow; competently present and defend analysis daily.
    • Utilize Excel and PowerPoint; open and able to learn new software and innovative ways of using old software.
    • Proficient writing and public speaking skills.
    • Willing to work with others as well as be a self-sufficient.

    Organizational:

    • Write and present research analysis and understand media plans.
    • Communicate with clients, and other agency departments.
    • Foster internal/agency communications and relationships.
    • Establish vendor relationships.

    Team:

    • Train competitive assistants in a variety of required systems and processes.
    • Encourage creativity and pro-activity of competitive team.
    • Supervise work flow to guarantee timely delivery of projects.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • 3-4 years of experience in media research, planning, or account management.
    • Telecom experience not necessary but would be a plus.
    • Proficient across all channels (print, TV, radio, interactive, OOH).
    • Have solid command of industry research and trends.
    • Organized, detail oriented. Expects excellence and accuracy.
    • Familiar with Kantar, Competitrack, Media Monitors, or Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $81,500 - $128,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
