    Job Description

    The Technology and Activation Group (TAAG) is a practice dedicated to delivering first-in-class technology expertise and processes to help navigate the overly complex ad technology space and deliver advanced marketing solutions to clients.  

    Measurement Operations (“Measurement Ops”) is the merger of strong media tagging and trafficking operations within TAAG and the larger measurement-focused, technology-enabled Data Sciences teams, for advanced data capture, media trafficking, and QA across all channels. The VP role will develop this function exclusively on the Verizon account, and work to implement best practices within the team. 

    This role will build and lead a team of digital advertising operations and measurement professionals. The VP will oversee all functions of Measurement Ops including campaign implementation, trafficking, optimization, and issue resolution, as well as driving cross-platform, cross-device tagging strategies in partnership with Clients, Analytics and Media teams. This person is expected to be passionate about the field and lead as an expert in ad trafficking, measurement tools and technologies. The VP will report into the EVP of Analytics. 

    ROLE OBJECTIVES: 

    • Manage all measurement operations processes and teams across account 

    • Work inter-departmentally to deliver best-in-class digital advertising trafficking and measurement to clients 

    • Review complex media programs, tagging and data sets and understand how to identify and track data needed for analytics 

    • Build, train and motivate team and ensure team has ongoing professional development  

    • Assist team in managing priorities and apply appropriate resource allocation based on client scope 

    • Driving POVs across the parent organization on best practices in the evolving space  

    • Develop and implement more robust QA systems and tooling for monitoring and troubleshooting 

    • Establish best practices and plan, develop, and implement processes for measurement operations 

    • Responsible for staying abreast of emerging tools/technology and ensuring agency and clients are using the right solutions 

    • Responsible for staying abreast of data governing rules and regulations 

    • Support new business efforts as needed

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field  

    • Agency experience highly preferred 

    • 10+ years of experience in advertising, media effectiveness and measurement (at least 5 of these in an agency environment required) 

    • 4+ years of management experience (remote team and offshore resource management experience a plus) 

    • Expert level experience required in MS Excel, GCM, SA360, DV360, Innovid, Tealium, Jira, LiveRamp 

    • Proficient knowledge of site analytics tools, DMPs, DSPs, media attribution models, research studies, incrementality/multi-touch attribution 

    • Good understanding of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript a plus 

    • Self-starter who has experience in display, programmatic, search, video and mobile advertising 

    • Ability to manage projects, think analytically, pay attention to detail 

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and function in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment 

    • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure 

    • Must have strong communication and presentation skills 

    • Passionate about the advertising measurement space and the associated tools and technology

     

    Additional Information

    Compensation Range: $143,000 - $225,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
