    Job Description

    This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure that data privacy principles are implemented into all areas of Publicis Media’s business. This person will be responsible for coordinating and communicating deliverables to each market on best practices as it relates to data privacy. This position is ideal for someone with an ad tech or programmatic media background who is interested in the data privacy space. The Analyst, Data Privacy Governance will coordinate across senior-level business stakeholders to deploy newly-created processes to meet data privacy mandates.

    · Collaborate with various stakeholders on client questions and requests as it relates to data privacy, and provide subject matter expertise on data privacy law implications to ad tech and advertising services

    · Deploy and ensure the completion of record keeping obligations per the legal mandate, and develop guidance as well as training and awareness materials for relevant business functions involved in the processing of personal data

    · Compile status reports of data privacy deliverables to executive leadership

    · Coordinate and communicate across Publicis Media’s markets to share best practices related to data privacy, and communicate needed deliverables

    · Manage integrated, multi-track projects in work stream planning processes through excellent writing skills and communication techniques

    · Conduct cycled gap analysis to identify operational challenges to compliance and/or ensure comprehensive view of client and market level activity

    · Onboard new client teams to the data privacy program and manage integrated and multi-track projects in privacy work stream

    · Work closely with direct manager to set strategy and define success criteria for client data privacy compliance initiatives

    · Support providing guidance as well as training and awareness materials for relevant business functions involved in the processing of personal data

    · Manage data from 120+ countries and work with global clients on inventory management, data registry, and problem-solving

    · Directly manage 60+ clients and serve as the primary point of contact for programmatic social buying questions

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    · Proficient knowledge in Excel and/or PowerPivot

    · Knowledge and understanding of the use of data within the advertising and media industry (for example, programmatic advertising, behavioral targeting, etc.)

    · Clear and concise communication skills

    · Positive attitude, proactive, and has a passion for continuous learning

    · Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of Publicis Groupe, and with clients

    · Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details

    · Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment

    · Ability to modify data privacy processes to cultural and market differences

    · Experience with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially including those relevant for online behavioral advertising and ad tech companies, is preferred

    · Desired certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM

    Compensation Range: $52,500 - $80,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
