  • Responsibilities

    The Operations Coordinator is the point of contact for all visitors and participants in GSDM's Continuing Education programs. The Operations Coordinator will work seamlessly with the Business Manager and Program Supervisor to provide exceptional service experience to dentists and non-dentists seeking a lifelong learning experience.

     

    Liaise with Office of Communications on email blasts and print material to market courses, which includes creating pamphlets and brochures, securing mailing lists, and suggesting design of marketing collateral. Also responsible for handling all social media for the office. 

     

    Answer phone calls, greet all visitors and participants, and respond to verbal and email correspondence.

     

    Communicate, direct and refine information, issues, phone calls and correspondence for the department.

     

    Receive, file and process participants' registration documentation and payments according to specific filing and data entry procedures developed by department.

     

    Prepare and file course material such as sign-in sheets, evaluations, certificates, speaker contracts, folders, etc.

     

    Order catering for all courses.

     

    Manage and reconcile departmental budgetary and financial transactions such as catering, travel, refunds, etc. Maintain correct inventory of office supplies.

     

    Execute duties/projects as assigned by the Business Manager. This may include working on weekends/evenings and limited traveling.

     

    Required Skills

    Associates/vocational/technical degree required, bachelors preferred and 1-3 years’ experience
