    Candidates must be detail-oriented, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    An interest in environmental health is strongly preferred as this position encompasses a range of research support activities including reviews of scientific literature and preparation of manuscripts. The candidate must be able to work well with research subjects as the main part of the job entails subject recruitment for this clinical trial. Subject recruitment will require the coordinator to manage the whole subject recruitment process including developing of script, maintaining database of calls and responses, develop recruitment materials, track subject responses, screen subjects for eligibility, schedule appointments, consent subjects and ensure they sign the informed consent and monitor for study adherence and safety. In addition, the coordinator will need to oversee the completion of all data collection and maintaining data integrity. The coordinator will work closely with the PI to maintain all IRB records and update any IRB protocol as need be. The coordinator will work with the PI to summarize subject recruitment efforts, data collection, data storage, study adherence and safety reporting and mailing to our collaborators for annual reports to the funding agency.
