HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a substitute (# of hours based on demand) FRONT DESK ATTENDANT at our client site located in GOLDEN, COLORADO. In this position, you will greet, check-in and assist customers; provide program information, services, membership and ensure the highest possible level of customer service and participant satisfaction. **FITNESS FACILITY IS OPEN MONDAY - THURSDAY 5AM-7:30PM, FRIDAYS 5AM-6:30PM.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Greeting, checking-in and assisting customers, provide program information services and membership information.
• Assist with all member service desk administration and processes, answer phones, and process membership enrollments.
• Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
• Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants and enroll new participants.
• Collects membership fees and performs related recordkeeping.
• Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate. Educate participants on policies and procedures
• Participate in internal programs and special events.
• Opening and/or closing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

REQUIRED: 

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.

PREFERRED:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Experience working in a fitness center.
• Experience using online member platform.

Required Skills Required Experience

• Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred.
• Experience in auditing is not required but at least 4 years experience working within human subjects research in positions such as IRB staff/analyst, study coordinator, or monitor/auditor is needed.
• Experience with conduct of clinical research either with pharmaceutical/device clinical trials and or observational or socio behavioral and/or public health research.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for research.
• Expert understanding of policies and regulations guiding human research, including FDA, OHRP, ICH GCP, applicable NIH policies, etc.
• Excellent writing skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be comfortable giving presentations to and working with small and large groups of people.
• Detail oriented. Ability to multi-task.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with databases, spreadsheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, word processing, etc.
