HealthFitness is looking for part-time (up to 29 hours/week) AQUATIC INSTRUCTORS to join our aquatics team in Racine, Wisconsin. In this position, you will teach swimming and safety to patrons through group instruction. You will be required to complete the appropriate paperwork, attend in-services and demonstrate a positive attitude. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Possess interpersonal skills to inform the progress reports to the children and parents.
• Class organization.
• Maintain up to date status with staff certifications and improvements of the American Red Cross.
• Remain current in the updates of the American Red Cross.
• Participates in staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
• Other duties as needed/ assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current WSI certification from American Red Cross preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work with a diverse population.

Required Skills Required Experience

Must have a High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 12 months experience. Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4pm (includes evening schedules 11am- 7:30pm) Includes Rotating Saturday Schedules (Sunday as needed)
