  • Responsibilities

    To collect and properly remove and dispose of all waste materials from production areas of the plant as needed.

    Required Skills

    • Properly label inedible barrels, luggers and trash luggers and place them in their designated locations.
    • Empty luggers into their respective barrel or dumpsters.
    • Knowledge of the location of each compactor and its contents.
    • Removal of inedible barrels using the proper technique of using barrel cart.
    • Dumping these barrels into inedible totes and applying denaturant to the tote.
    • Washing out barrels before taking them out on Production Floor.
    • Contacting only inedible surfaces while working.
    • Keeping floors as clean and dry as possible. This includes removing broken wood splinters in the grinding, kitchen and cooler areas.
    • Follow all GMP`s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
    • Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
    • Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to the management, ASAP.
    • Any other duties as assigned.
