To collect and properly remove and dispose of all waste materials from production areas of the plant as needed.
Required Skills
- Properly label inedible barrels, luggers and trash luggers and place them in their designated locations.
- Empty luggers into their respective barrel or dumpsters.
- Knowledge of the location of each compactor and its contents.
- Removal of inedible barrels using the proper technique of using barrel cart.
- Dumping these barrels into inedible totes and applying denaturant to the tote.
- Washing out barrels before taking them out on Production Floor.
- Contacting only inedible surfaces while working.
- Keeping floors as clean and dry as possible. This includes removing broken wood splinters in the grinding, kitchen and cooler areas.
- Follow all GMP`s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
- Work in a safe manner and report any unsafe conditions to the management, ASAP.
- Any other duties as assigned.
