    The Opportunity

    • Preliminary and detailed design of new bridges, stations and other civil structures
    • Preliminary and detailed rehabilitation design of existing bridges, stations and other civil structures
    • Inspection of existing bridges, stations and other civil structures and preparation of reports
    • Analysis and design of structural systems and components using industry standard structural design software and preparation of formal design calculation packages

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
    • Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design
    • Interest in the design of bridges, non-building structures and infrastructure, underground and offshore structures
    • Interest in sustainable design
    • Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
    • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role

    Preferred:

    • Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher
    • FE/ EIT certification
    • Experience with advanced digital tools and design, such as parametric design, automation, coding and 3D BIM software
    • Currently in Senior year of Bachelor’s Degree and will be pursuing Master’s degree in upcoming school year

    New York City Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York City, NY is $26.00 to $37.00 per hour. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York City, NY will differ.
