    The Opportunity

    Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:

    • Help develop and edit communications content.
    • Participate in communications strategy and planning.
    • Research and help coordinate upcoming conferences, PR opportunities, and other activities.
    • Maintain and update communications materials and databases.
    • Work closely with marketing and communications teams
    • Miscellaneous duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher (open to all majors- marketing, engineering, architectural studies, history, psychology, sociology, etc.,).
    • Strong storytelling, writing, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Experience with the following computer applications: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Must have strong collaboration skills and a proactive attitude, with an ability to work within a team environment and with staff of all levels.
    • Availability to work flexible hours when required.
    • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

    Preferred

    • Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher.
    • Bilingual skills: English for speaking, writing, and reading.Spanish and/or French writing and reading skills a bonus.
    • Experience or interest in the innovation, design, and construction industry preferred, knowledge of Architecture/Engineering field helpful.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with great attention to detail.
    • Ability to find and tell great stories.
    • Maintain an enthusiastic approach to working with deadlines.
    • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to support the needs of the team.

    New York City Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York City, NY is $24.00 to $34.00 per hour. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York City, NY will differ.
