    We are currently looking for a Graduate Logistics Consultant to help support a series of planning and design projects and contribute to a growing freight & logistics practice. Some projects will fit in the traditional urban planning realm, others will focus more on operational performance, material handling, and supply chain consulting. Projects will come from a variety of sectors, including transportation, supply chain logistics, transit, streetscape, building back-of-house operations, master planning, policy, healthcare, and industry.

    Responsibilities of this specific role will include, but not be limited to the following:

    • Contributing to projects in transportation planning, freight planning, logistics consulting and/or supply chain
    • Advising clients on materials management optimization, the future of mobility, zero emission vehicles, sustainability, operational improvements, and/or supply chain management standard methodologies.
    • Effective collaboration with team members and internal project partners.
    • Delivering high-quality products through quantitative and qualitative analyses, stakeholder engagement, effective writing, and visualizations.
    • Preparing, coordinating, and delivering effective presentations for internal and external meetings.
    • Contributing to excellent client care and strong client relationships through quality work and clear communication.
    • Representing Arup's freight planning and logistics group on cross-functional projects.
    • Contributing to the growth of the business through development of proposals and partnerships with key collaborators.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Urban Planning, Architecture or other built environment, industry, or managementrelated fields.
    • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
    • Ability to work in a collaborative and project delivery environment.
    • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
    • Excellent planning and organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • A desire to be proactive, entrepreneurial, and willing to take on new challenges.
    • Preference for experience with architectural drawings, AutoCAD, data management, and/or discrete event simulation modeling (e.g., Simio/Arena).
    • Preference for involvement with a professional organization to develop skills and professional network and studying toward a professional qualification (e.g., PE, AICP, AIA, ENV SP, CMILT, LEED, CLTD, CSCP).
    • Must not now, nor in the future require visa sponsorship to maintain work authorization
