RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review of civil engineering plans, reports, site plans and calculations for compliance with governing requirements and standards of practice.

• Support senior engineering staff in the design of civil engineering improvements for public agency clients; may include sidewalks, parks, roadways, pavement rehabilitation, stormwater and stormdrain facilities, ADA compliance, preparation of plans and project specifications, cost estimates and project schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field, 0 -3 years public works or general civil experience is desirable.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office

• 0 to 4 years of experience

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training, CA Driver's License or ability to obtain
