  • Responsibilities

    The Role and What You’ll Do:

    We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Head of External Relations in the Country Music Department. In this role, you will:

    • Provide professional administrative support to the Sr. Director, External Relations and team
    • Help coordinate and execute company, client and industry-wide events, including occasional evening and weekend support
    • Assist in various stewardship efforts for clients, industry partners and executives
    • Create, manage and maintain various assets including decks and pitches, data and list tracking, talking points and up-to-date stats
    • Track and reconcile department expenses while organizing and updating various budgets
    • Research clients and industry trends to support external engagement strategies and communications.
    • Answer phones and conduct calls in a professional manner
    • Prepare and schedule meetings and maintain calendar

    You Have These:

    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • 1-2 years of event management and/or communications experience
    • An interest in corporate events, partnerships and relationship management
    • Basic PC skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Suite
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, with ample experience in tracking and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel.

    • Excellent multi-tasker with proven problem-solving abilities
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks
    • Ability to work autonomously and spearhead delegated tasks
    • Friendly and open demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
    • Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast paced, demanding environment
    • Extremely proactive, dependable and able to prioritize the workload and use time efficiently

    Compensation is $21/hr.
