    JOB DESCRIPTION

    WME, a major worldwide talent agency, We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to support a Communications Manager in the Country Music Department.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Assist External Relations Associate in all professional administrative matters.

    • Support in planning and executing company and client events.

    • Work occasional evenings as needed for events.

    • Support various stewardship efforts for clients, industry partners and company executives.

    • Assist in creation of various PR assets including creating decks and pitches, company stats, and compiling talking points.

    • Conduct client-related research.

    • Answer phones and make calls in a professional manner.

    • Schedule meetings and maintain calendar.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

    • Excellent verbal and written skills.

    • 1-2 years of communications experience is desired, and interest in business/corporate press and events is preferred.

    • Basic computer skills are mandatory.

    • Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite is mandatory.

    • Experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • General knowledge and keen interest of entertainment industry.

    • Possesses basic understanding of Public Relations and Event Management.

    • Must be detailed oriented and able to handle complex instructions with care and follow-through.

    • Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have proven problem-solving abilities.

    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks.

    • Ability to work autonomously and spearhead delegated tasks.

    • Friendly and open demeanor with ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

    • Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast paced, demanding environment.

    • Dependable and proactive. Able to prioritize the workload and use time efficiently
