OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for assisting in the training and development of the front of the house staff in one of our busy restaurants. Assists and supervises floor operations to ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction. This position works closely with the Chefs to help ensure an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Always be NICE to fellow staff and players; find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting. • Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures according to Food and Beverage and Casino guidelines. • Assists in complying with all food and beverage health and safety regulations, as well as all federal, state, and local applicable laws. • Responsible for assisting with the scheduling, evaluation, and training of the staff, ensuring staff’s compliance with all guest service standards. • Ensures floor operations are run in a smooth and efficient manner, providing assistance as needed. • Reviews and makes suggestions to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, evaluate, assign, and discipline staff members in a fair and equitable manner. • Maximizes cost effectiveness by ensuring compliance with established budget, labor, and revenue benchmarks. • Responsible for listening to, evaluating, and ensuring control of guests' complaints. • Monitors the job performance of staff members and provides feedback on it to aid the staff members in developing and enhancing their skills. • Confers with the manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention. • Assists in maintaining consistent, regular attendance records for staff. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of Food and Beverage service, sanitation, and health codes • Guest service, public relations, oral/written communication, and computer skills • Familiarity with Point of Sale systems is essential • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable REQUIRED EDUCATION: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • Some college preferred • Food Handlers Certification is provided on-site. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Minimum two years of supervisory experience Compensation: $68,640
