Learning Opportunities: This internship is with the corporate population. Throughout your time here, you will be exposed to four program areas. Facility Programming, Group Movement, Sport and Recreation and Health Promotions, with a large focus on delivering fitness programs and services to users. You will also be exposed to proprietary technology, as well as evaluation and assessment procedures. The EXOS Internship offers an education curriculum on a weekly basis. These sessions will include practical, lecture, and question and answer components. Daily duties and responsibilities include: Session observation, coaching opportunities Educational lectures, workshops, and practicals on our performance systems Assistance for the Performance Coaches as needed with various aspects of training and testing, and much more. Support events and programs offered to users Qualifications Required Qualifications: Matriculating junior or senior in corporate wellness, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education or a related field GPA of 3.0 or higher Completed coursework in anatomy, exercise physiology, kinesiology, and basic exercise testing and prescription Preferred Qualifications: Previous exercise testing experience preferred CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (Students who are not currently certified may seek certification during the application process) Good verbal and written communication skill Ability to multi-task We are an equal opportunity employer EXOS is proud to be an affirmative action / equal opportunity employer.
