Custodian Bunker Hills - Coon Rapids, MN Part-time Company: Bunker Hills ABOUT BUNKER HILLS EVENT CENTER This acclaimed restaurant serves tavern-style food daily, a chophouse menu daily after 4:00 pm, and caters to up to 360 guests in the adjoining Event Center all on the beautiful Bunker Hills Golf Course located in Coon Rapids, MN. SUMMARY This position performs cleaning activities for the facility with primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness of guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms, restaurant and bar, concessions, main kitchen; as well as outside perimeter locations including patios and concession stands prior to and during events; including but not limited to; vacuuming; dusting furniture and all wood surfaces; cleaning walls, glass and mirrors; polishing brass and stainless steel; arranging furniture; and sweeping and mopping floors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Authentic Hospitality: Ensures a positive guest experience through personal interactions. Ensures prompt, courteous, and professional service. Provides exceptional communication with a high degree of professionalism and engagement. Identifies and provides additional services for clients and guests, elevating the guest experience in hospitality. Responds to guests needs and comments in accordance with facility and MHC standards and policies to ensure a positive experience. Position Duties: Maintains cleanliness of /guest entrances, lobby areas, restrooms and outside perimeter locations prior to and during events, including but not limited to snow and ice removal when necessary. Cleans lobby, public areas, offices, restaurant and bar: vacuums, dusts furniture and all wood surfaces; cleans glass and mirrors; polishes brass and stainless steel, door push plates and light switch covers and arranges furniture. Cleans and stocks restrooms for all events including: doors, urinals, toilets, stall doors and entryways. Thoroughly cleans sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors using cleaning agents and equipment. Empties trash, clears debris and vacuums public areas and offices as required. Ensures public areas are left in a manner that is appropriate for guest tours and merchandising of Bunker Hills Gold Club. Sweeps and mops the lobby, public/employee restrooms, restaurant and bar, patio, concession stands, main kitchen and restaurant/banquet expo service areas. Cleans entry doors on a regular basis to maintain a smudge free appearance. Takes out trash and recycling. Maintains close communication with supervisor, including supply needs and maintenance of all equipment. Requisitions and maintains departmental supplies to established pars: such as cleaners and all other supplies in an organized manner; and recommends purchases to the Executive Chef as necessary. Ensures vacuums and floor scrubbing machines are in working condition. Complies with the facilities recycling policies and procedures. Attends required meetings and training sessions as assigned/scheduled. Exercises care, performs required maintenance and ensures all operating instructions, safety standards and guidelines are followed in relation to Bunker Hills Golf Clubs equipment and/or facility assets.
