  • Responsibilities

    The Business Operations Assistant will be responsible for:

    • Supporting the Executive Vice President of Business Operations for talent agency WME
    • Scheduling meetings and managing travel and expenses
    • Maintaining and managing various databases and email distribution lists
    • Developing, supporting, and maintaining detailed work plans on key initiatives, to include timelines and regular status reports
    • Supporting budget tracking
    • Conducting research
    • Managing the agency’s operations calendar
    • Creating and disseminating various agency reports
    • Working closely with the broader business operations team and support staff across the agency’s departments and service areas to collect and disseminate critical information
    • Drafting background materials, emails, and other written forms of communication
    • Supporting agency events and other initiatives
    • Executing general administrative duties

    Candidates must have very strong organizational skills and be professional, highly resourceful, dependable, efficient, detail-oriented, and motivated. Communication and writing skills must be exceptional for this very demanding and fast-paced environment. At least 1-2 years of assistant experience is preferred, as is interest in entertainment, sports and fashion. Creativity is encouraged as the position allows for much autonomy. Complementary majors include Business, Economics, Communications, and Marketing.

    Starting hourly rate is $21/hr.

    Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.     Hiring Rate Minimum:

    $15.75 hourly (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum wage thresholds)

    Hiring Rate Maximum:

    $21.00 hourly
